Estelle Manor
An 85-acre Oxfordshire estate, reworked with quiet, confident design and old-world charm.
History, Reimagined Across Every Room
Set on a Grade II-listed landmark at Eynsham Park, on the doorstep of the Cotswolds, Estelle Manor asks to be read as a hotel with more than one era. New York studio Roman and Williams took the original house, its converted stables and a scatter of freestanding cottages, and let each carry its own mood: some rooms hold onto original panelling and fireplaces, others lean into a fresher, more playful hand. It's the country cousin to Maison Estelle in Mayfair, minus the exclusivity, plus room to roam, its acres given over to a spa modelled on Roman baths, a scatter of dining rooms and, for those inclined, a pair of padel courts.
The Facilities
Four restaurants take genuinely different lines: English classics in the Brasserie, dim sum in the Billiards Room, sashimi and robata at the Armoury. Eynsham Baths is a 3,000-square-metre spa with five pools, alongside a 25-metre heated pool and 48 classes a week in the Clubhouse gym.
The Padel
Two padel courts, a recent addition to the west side of the estate, come with a prestigious partner: Audemars Piguet, which stepped into the sport this year. Members receive complimentary access and priority booking, while hotel guests are welcome to book a court during their stay.
