Travel suppliers and travel agencies may process your personal data under their own privacy policies and as independent organisations.

We only disclose information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

7.

International Transfers

SET operates within an international travel ecosystem. Personal data may therefore be transferred to or processed in countries outside Singapore, including countries where travel suppliers, travel agencies and technology providers are located.

Where the PDPA applies to an overseas transfer, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA. These measures may include contractual protections, appropriate due diligence and recognised data protection arrangements.

8.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Fulfil the purposes for which it was collected;
  • Manage an enquiry or business relationship;
  • Meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements;
  • Resolve disputes or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

When personal data is no longer required for a business or legal purpose, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it. Different retention periods may apply to different categories of information.

9.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or disposal. These measures may include:

  • Restricted access based on business need;
  • Password and account security controls;
  • Encryption used by our hosting and technology providers;
  • Secure communications and storage systems;
  • Vendor and access reviews;
  • Internal procedures for managing security incidents.

No website, email service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where a data breach is notifiable under applicable law, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required.

Further information may be provided in a separate Cookie Policy or cookie notice.

11.

Marketing Communications

We may send you editorial updates, destination inspiration, travel information and other SET marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them or where otherwise permitted by law. Marketing consent is not a condition of submitting a travel enquiry.

You may unsubscribe at any time by:

  • Selecting the unsubscribe link in a marketing email;
  • Replying to the relevant message;
  • Contacting us at data@onemoreset.co

We may still send non-marketing communications necessary to respond to an enquiry or manage an existing relationship. Marketing sent by telephone, SMS or similar messaging services will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and Do Not Call requirements.

12.

Our website and travel enquiry services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from individuals under 18 without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. An adult organising family travel may provide limited information about accompanying children where reasonably necessary for the enquiry or itinerary.
