Is there a better time of year to play padel in KL?
Not really, KL stays warm and playable all year. If you're stringing KL together with the rest of Malaysia's padel scene, time your trip for early in the year, when Penang and Langkawi's courts are starting to find their feet too.
How easy is it to turn up and find a game as a visitor?
KL isn't a Playtomic city. Most clubs run their own booking systems, so getting into a club's WhatsApp or group chat goes further than any app. Reclub is catching on fast and worth having before you land.
Indoor or outdoor courts, and does it matter?
Both, and it matters. Outdoor covered courts get you the full tropical version, heat, sweat and all. If that's not your idea of fun, plenty of clubs run on air-con instead.
