WHY INDONESIA WITH SET AWAY

From Asia's best padel to restorative wellness to the edge of the archipelago, this is Indonesia with nothing left out.

We came to Bali for the padel. Indonesia gave us every reason to keep going. Amongst the noise, we select the island's noise, where the little details stack up, the coaching feels more personalised, the facilities fuel you for the next game, and the island lets the feel-good factor keep running. Some of the world's best padel & stays belong here.

From there, the country opens up. On Sumba, Nihi's court sits at the edge of the jungle, with horses grazing beyond the glass. Further east, wooden boats move between the wild islands of Komodo, while volcanic trails lead into an altogether different Indonesia. Our journeys grew from this contrast: serious time on court followed by experiences that take you far beyond it.

BALI

BALI

Where Asia's padel scene reaches its peak

Bali is the beating heart of our Indonesia escapes: handpicked clubs, excursions away from the crowds, quietly getting it right, barely making a noise. Evenings slow down into recovery, not another activity. This is padel with everything else built around it, properly.

Sumba is what's left once you get past the postcard. One padel court, ringed by jungle: leave the coaching to us, we'll fly a coach in. Beyond the resort, the island empties out fast, no crowds, nothing between you and the game.

FAQs

Planning a Luxury Padel Trip to Indonesia

How much does a luxury padel holiday to Indonesia cost?

A four-day luxury padel holiday in Indonesia starts from $2,500 per person, with five-star stays, a padel itinerary built around you, and curated experiences beyond the court. For longer, multi-stop trips, combining Bali and Sumba, for example, expect from $7,500 per person for ten days.

When is the best time to visit Indonesia?

April to October is Bali and Indonesia's dry season: clear skies, lower humidity, perfect weather for padel and full itineraries alike. November to March brings afternoon downpours, though mornings usually stay clear; our padel clubs in Bali are covered, so it's game on regardless.

Can I customise a padel holiday to Indonesia?

Every trip is entirely yours. We start by understanding how you want to travel, then match you with the right padel, the right hotels, and handle every detail: private boat charters, bespoke coaching retreats, whatever the trip calls for. Nothing here is off-the-shelf.

What is the padel scene like in Indonesia?

Indonesia is Southeast Asia's biggest padel market, and Bali sits at the centre of it: home to some of Asia's most complete padel clubs, from Jungle Padel's eight locations to the NOX-backed Bali Padel Academy. Jakarta has more courts by volume, but skews to a local, community crowd rather than a destination one. Lombok is where the scene is headed next: fewer courts, though built for travellers.

Is Indonesia suitable for players of all levels?

Yes, and Bali especially. Plenty of players pick up a racket for the first time at one of the island's clubs and are hooked within a set. It works just as well for advanced players: coaching here is high level, and there's a real tournament calendar to plug into, not just casual courts.
